Far Flung Craft

Who We Are

Far Flung Craft was founded by Kristy Harris, an American living and working in Asia. Kristy is a crafter at heart having been an active quilter before finding all of the pretty papers.   Kristy acts as the Managing Director and "Marketing Guru" for the Company.

In early 2007 Faye Forster, an Australian ex-pat, joined Far Flung Craft.  Faye is a rubber stamper and paper artist and met Kristy through a group (OSA) devoted to the art of Asian inspired Rubber Stamping.  Faye is the Operations Director  and "Chief Officer of Getting Things Done".

Far Flung Craft offers offers unqiue Asian inspired products, including our Asian papers, Frou-Frou Fabric Embellishments and Asian charms (oh and we have lots of fibers too!)

Where We Are

Our Headquarters are in Singapore, a small island nation, not much more than a large city off the coast of Malaysia. Singapore itself is a kaleidoscope of cultures blending Chinese, Malay, Indian and Western Cultures to create one of the most vibrant cities in the world. We source our goods from all over Asia, including China, Taiwan and Indonesia.

Our Public Commitment

Living in South East Asia, we see both the best part of the world in terms of natural beauty and culture. We also see abject poverty and what it does to culture and our environment. As we grow, we hope to do our part to make these conditions better.  We use local products when ever possible and partner with small businesses, like ourselves around the region.  Far Flung Craft is also dedicated to the assisting the impoverished communities that surround us in South East Asia by sourcing products and working with the people of these communities in order to create jobs for them.  It may take a while before we are able to accomplish these goals but you have to start somewhere and we firmly believe in starting now.
